This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every Customer and every User. "You" means both.

1. Use the Service only for your business

You may use the Service only to manage your company's customers and prepare your company's proposals, in compliance with all applicable laws, and only through the interfaces we provide.

2. Content you may not put into the Service

You may not upload, enter or import:

  1. information you do not have the right to use, or that you obtained unlawfully (for example a customer list taken from a former employer in breach of an agreement);
  2. sensitive information the Service is not built to hold: Social Security numbers, driver's-license, passport or other government ID numbers; bank-account, card or other financial-account numbers or credentials; health or medical information; biometric data; precise geolocation; or information about children under 18;
  3. passwords or credentials for any other system;
  4. content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  5. malware, or files designed to exploit software (including malicious macros in Word templates).

3. Conduct you may not engage in

You may not:

  1. share logins, or let anyone use the Service under another person's account;
  2. access, or try to access, another customer's data, our systems, or any part of the Service you are not authorized to use;
  3. probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or bypass any authentication, rate limit, lockout or permission, except under a written authorization from us (see §6);
  4. interfere with or overload the Service (including denial-of-service attacks, or automated requests beyond normal human use);
  5. scrape, crawl, data-mine, or use bots or scripts to access the Service, other than through any API we publish for that purpose;
  6. copy, frame, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, or use it or our documentation to build or benchmark a competing product;
  7. resell, sublicense, rent or provide the Service to anyone outside your company;
  8. use address suggestions or other Third-Party Service content in breach of that provider's terms (for example by bulk-extracting Google Places data);
  9. use the Service to prepare a proposal or document that is fraudulent, deceptive, or that misrepresents your licensing, insurance, qualifications or prices;
  10. use contact information in the Service to send unsolicited commercial email, texts or calls in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, or similar laws;
  11. remove or obscure any proprietary notice; or
  12. help anyone else do any of the above.

4. Your responsibilities

You will keep your login and 2FA device secure; deactivate Users who leave your company; review all Output before sending it (Terms §6); and tell us promptly at [security@tradeforcepros.com] about any suspected unauthorized access or violation of this AUP.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations. If we reasonably believe this AUP has been violated, we may remove or disable the offending content, suspend or terminate the responsible User or the Account (Terms §12), and report unlawful activity to law enforcement. Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice first and an opportunity to fix the problem. We have no obligation to monitor content, and our failure to act is not a waiver.

6. Reporting security issues

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email [security@tradeforcepros.com] with details and do not access or change other people's data, disrupt the Service, or disclose the issue publicly until we have had a reasonable time to fix it. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith reports that follow these rules. [ATT-AUP-1: confirm the safe-harbor wording.]

7. Changes

We may update this AUP as described in Terms §18.
